A treasured possession, the repository of all our cookbooks, newspaper clippings of recipes etc. Cooking the Australian Way, standing on top of the bookcase was Sandra’s first cookbook from school days when girls were taught how to be a good housewife. Thankfully society has moved on from there, although we still refer to it for old favourites and a look back on how different expectations of family were.
